(I'm not going to be a meany and close this after the first person arrives. ^^ If someone wants to join, feel free)
It had been a long day so far, but at long last Abby had a chance to sit and relax.
Wandering through the park, she was still getting used to the city, so everything seemed so new and novel.
A quick glance down at the flattering skinny jeans, purple converse and purple tank told her one thing, these weren't clothes you had to worry about. With that, she slumped down onto the grass, stretching out to watch the clouds pass so slowly across the sky.
Yes, it was cold.
Yes, she was dressed like it were the height of summer.
And Yes, she was lying in the middle of the park.
But so what? She'd been dancing all morning so had quite frankly earned it.
It had been a packed 5 hours. Tango, Samba, Street, Kickboxing, Yoga and then her Free Dance classes which were basically a showcase for routines.
Taking a deep breath, she smilied as she sang softly to herself, only one ipod earphone in. Michael Buble's cover of "Feeling Good."
If she'd been on her feet, she'd have been reciting the piece from her dance class that day. But no, it required a more extravigant style, she'd save it for a speical occassion, maybe find a fellow dancer to give a critical opinion on it. Hell, it was nearing on a mik take of Jessica Rabbit.
"It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new liiiffeee for me.....and I'm feeelin' gooooodddddd." she sang, her voice a souful, almost jazz inclinded one. It's what struck people about her, she was something different, a breath of fresh air.
