i know your type, boy YOU'RE DANGEROUS YEAH YOU‘RE THE GUY I WOULD be stupid to trust. but just one night couldn‘t be so wrong • • • • • • • • • • • • • •willow finally shut off her laptop after talking in the chatroom. it seemed as though she had been in bed all day and really she had. she pushed back the floral covers and stretched. thousands of aches and pains rustled through her. it felt as though every bone and muscle in her body had been strained and bent beyond control. frowning, she felt like slipping once again into the bed beneath her, but restrained herself from doing so. Slipping a robe atop her nightclothes, she fluffed up her pillows and set them on the bed accordingly. frowning at herself for being idiot enough to do the last step in making a bed first, she quickly moved the pillows and started one again. stripping the sheets from the mattress, replacing them, and so on until finally the deed was done. thank god, since it had taken much shorter than usual. but then, she had been in a daze for a while now. it wouldn’t have been long until something like this, where she couldn’t really function well, happened.
but it wasn‘t as crazy as meeting jack! she still couldn‘t believe she was actually going to see him. grabbing the subway since she didn‘t feel like driving, she took it to the street and then walked the rest of the way. coffee was definitely motivation enough for an energy and drug addict like miss willow. of course, she didn‘t do every drug in the book but, valium and ecstasy were pretty strong. it wasn‘t just the coffe though. it was jack! he seemed so different and yet so the same. it would be nice to ‘catch up‘ she knocked on his door, then shook her head realizing there was a doorbell and pushed that instead. she hummed to a song, twirling her hair, waiting for him to open up.
she frowned when she noticed there wasn't any answer and getting onto the chat, she realized what had happened. rolling her eyes, she followed his instructions and walked on. hmm, it was rather nice. quaint. jk! it was awesome. but then, what did she expect from jack bailey right?
she was extremely tired and seeing the couch, she jumped on it, lying down. gosh, she needed to get more sleep. she turned on the tv, and flipped through the channels. absolutely nothing on was good. where was jack? gosh, she didn't want to waste the night just sitting here. hmm, maybe he really was a jackass. aw well, she would see. it was a sick addiction of his: his iphone. he rarely ever let it even two feet away from him. tonight, he was actually extra clingy to it, he didn't know why. he'd been back for about three days now and he was nothing short of extremely to be home. london was barely home, he got used to it, but it wasn't enough for him to not miss new york or france, even. not to mention, devon west, the one girl he'd been friends and just friends with for as long as he could remember. no feelings that went past the 'friends' line and for once, he was perfectly okay with that. he loved his best friend and even though she visited him a lot in london over the summers, he was glad to be living in the same city as hers again.
now, don't get me wrong. devon's not the only reason he's happy to be home. manhattan girls first of all. woo. that was just it. they were far better than english girls, regardless the sexy-ass british accent. maybe he was just more used to them. not to mention one girl in particular that he had no idea was in new york. willow sinclair, who would've thought. now, jack didn't know her well enough yet to just liking her so instantly, but a bunch of memories from france were brought back just by her name and her voice. or...words. online. weird thing was, even though he was with devon west, he couldn't get his mind off seeing willa. apparently just the idea of coffee for her was enough to get her going and find jack's place that even he, himself, couldn't find.
he had hoped he would before she does, but he just ended up getting lost. stupid thing for him to get lost on the upper east side where all the streets were numbered. in order. most guys sucked with directions, it was just a fact. but jack? he sucked more than usual. ha. please ignore the double meaning, sid's losing it. *facepalm*. but for some reason, he was more familiar with the streets back in london. he practically knew every inch of the town with his eyes closed. surely, it wouldn't be long until he'd get used to new york again too. besides, he was only fifteen when he left for london. mostly hung around with his parents, really.
finally he found his building and just made his way up, bidding his farewell and whatnot to his best friend before making his way up to his floor of his million-dollar penthouse. if he was going to be living in the upper east side, he expected nothing came cheap. he didn't want to spend too much on his penthouse, but the least who could do was a million dollars. wasn't too bad compared to the more luxurious homes. he growling when he saw the door open. he hated his door open, but for some reason, he didn't seem to mind much, considering it was willa anyway.
putting on a smile up on his face, he stuffed his iphone back into his pocket and just walked on inside, closing the door behid him before looking forward at the girl sitting on his couch. had to be her, he knew it. couldn't even falsly assume it was a random girl, he just instantly recognized her. "holy shit, it's really you!" he grinned, making his way over to her just before tackling willow who was on the couch. surely it was a tackle in a...completely friendly and jokingly way. thank gawd, he'd cleaned up. then again, it was jack. he always cleaned up. even other people's houses. just like twenty minutes ago when he was tidying up devon's kitchen.

i know your type, boy YOU'RE DANGEROUS YEAH YOU‘RE THE GUY I WOULD be stupid to trust. but just one night couldn‘t be so wrong • • • • • • • • • • • • • •willow jumped when she heard her name, but she didn‘t go very far since right away she was tackled. laughing, she hugged him back and messed up his hair. ”no way, i swear i just stole her identity so i could grab hold of all her credit and…yeah.” she smiled. if there was one thing about willa, it was the fact that she was rarely serious unless she went into bitch mode. then, people just knew she wasn‘t kidding around and would shut up or apologize a thousand times over. but since she was definitely not in that disposition at the moment she was perfectly happy being her cooky normal self, which meant never being serious. in fact, practically everything was a joke in her world. she could take any situation and meld it into some glorified saturday night live version of itself. why? well, mainly because she wasn’t the type who could handle a world where somberness and solemnity were key even if in the college world, it was starting to become such. it definitely wasn’t high school anymore. yes, to put it rather simply, willow was just plain immature. perhaps that was why when it came to relationships, she didn‘t have very lengthy ones. no, she didn’t cheat on people and neither did she flirt with anything in pants. with her, everyone was just for that night. it wasn‘t that she was a slut or anything or would latch onto whomever, and neither would she be a leach who sucked someone dry before telling them the relationship was over. when she was done, she would simply tell the guy bluntly that it was over. why? well, that was the usual question asked by the poor souls. well, just because it was done. she had become bored and her greatest fear above all was boredom. sure she loved scary movies and would brave anything, but when it came to that--no way. so why be with someone who sparked that very frightful emotion right off the bat? exactly willow‘s point. thus, a simple goodbye and no sobbing on her end at the least and everything was all good. atop that, willa did not and i repeat, did not have any crushes that were beyond physical. she was a tough one to crack, but it was mainly due to the way she had seen her parent‘s relationship fail. seeing jack was bittersweet for her. he brought back all those memories of the time she had loved. the times when she could cry when she wanted to, scream when she wanted to, and show every single emotion she wanted to without feeling weak. they were the moments where she could go hug her mom and sit back with her parents and just watch a movie. or simply, run around outside with jack and go nuts over the stupidest things like tag or red rover. however, now it was different. everything had changed. her mother was off cheating with someone ages younger than herself and squandering away her father‘s money while busy saying it was for her ‘relaxation time‘ while vacationing in europe. oh sure, whatever. willa was not the type who was going to believe shit like that. she loved her father and hated seeing him so easily fooled. then again, she guessed he did it because he wanted to believe all her mother‘s lies. it hurt him too much to know or even suspect the truth. willow sighed and shook her head. she didn‘t want to think about that right now. right now, she was with one of her best friends in the world who had only temporarily been out of her life. ”anyways!” she took a seat back on the couch and padded a spot next to her, looking to jack. ”alrighty, fill me in on everything, monsieur d'enfant mignon,” she said, using her childhood nickname for him. it translated to ‘mr. cutie‘, but now she was starting to wonder whether she should change it to something else. it seemed as though all the ladies were after him or at the least, he was after them. ”devon west is quite a character. i bet you guys have had some fun times, no?” she added, teasing him lightly. she knew that even if those two were ‘friends‘, understanding the type of girl devon must be, it must be ‘friends with benefits‘[/blockquote] • • • • • • • • • • • • • • TEMPLATE CREDIT TO: macy_dollBANNER CREDIT TO: lexiloveLYRICS CREDIT TO: good girls go bad by cobra starship WORD COUNT: 822--woot! much better than my last post. Jack held his friend in the hug for no more than five seconds before he backed up and just ran his fingers through his hair once, widening his eyes in a joking manner at her. "Whoaa, sweatheart, not the hair." Then again, it wasn't a lot of a joke. He had a thing with his hair, someone messed with it, he'd have to make sure it still looks as good as it did before it was messed with. Just asked all those hair care products in his bathroom. Ha. I'm kidding. Really. Maybe a little. "Now, I know you're lying. Please, I think I'd know my childhood crush when I see her," he told her with a slight chuckle.
So it wasn't like Jack was the most serious thing on the planet. He was probably just as childish as she could've remembered him back in France. Though he's turned twenty-one, he still isn't able to grow up out of his kid phase. He really had no reason. Yes, he went to NYU and owned a million-dollar penthouse that he lived in all by himself, but he really has no real reason to grow up. He's not about to settle down for a girl and probably not planning on moving back in with his parents anytime soon. For now, he's having fun having around one of his favorite places with all his favorite people in all his immature glory.
He loved being single and messing with as many girls as he could within a week or so, not having to worry about being tied down at all. maybe she wasn't the kinda girl to appreciate that kind of behavior, so it'd probably be best if he didn't talk about anything like that with her. then again, she figured she probably knew more about him than he thought she did. Trying to want to impress her was so hard, considering he had no idea what she liked or what the hell she thought about him when she even smiled over at him. It was terrifyingly hard. Hell, he barely even saw a smile on her face, he just figured something was on her might. Something probably far from the thoughts of him. Or maybe they were thoughts of him. Either way, he hated the look on her face. As if something was bugging her or something and he couldn't really do but about it.
He backed away from the tacklehug and sat up as well, sitting right there to her and putting a smile back on his face when she called him that nickname she used to refer him as. He was extremely shocked she even remember it at all. "What's there to tell, mon ange? He asked in a strong French accent, adding his own little nickname for her that he called her back then. It probably wouldn't be the most appropriate name to call her anymore, but changing it would only kill some nice memories. "Oh, whoa there. No no." He shook his head, "It's nothing like that with me and her, we're just friends." Hell, Devon really was the only girl he wasn't attracted to in that way. No benefits from her, not that he wanted any. Jack with her was just a partner in crime for her. Her best friend for life. Literally. For Jack, the two had too much fun to take their friendship somewhere else.

i know your type, boy YOU'RE DANGEROUS YEAH YOU‘RE THE GUY I WOULD be stupid to trust. but just one night couldn‘t be so wrong • • • • • • • • • • • • • •willa studied jack intensely, putting together bits and pieces of how she remembered him from before. it had been at least ten? no more than that. twelve years? yes. because the last time was when she was eight years old and now she had completely reached twenty. geez. she still couldn‘t believe so much time had passed by in such a short while. before she knew it she would be dead. she frowned at her morbid thought. then again, willow was practically one of the most morbid and overdramatic people you would ever meet. perhaps that was why her major was acting though? either that or she was wonderful at hiding her true emotions and covering it up with something else. no one could ever really guess what was happening inside her head because practically all the time she was one same emotion: cherry, giddy, energetic, and crazy rolled into one. unless someone ticked her off. then it was bitch mode like hell had just frozen over. jack had already seen both those stages though so he knew what she was like.
she rolled her eyes as he talked about devon. to her, it was pretty obvious. there couldn’t be any type of relations between a guy and a girl besides romantic or lust related when both were single unless it had occurred when they were still young, which was the case for them two. at least, that was what she thought. the fact that she was getting vibes and hearing things from both brynne and harrison that jack had other feelings for her were sort of weirding her out. yes, as a kid yeah but as an adult? whattttt? it just didn’t seem right. nonetheless, it was confusing the hell out of her. she didn’t feel that way for him. well, okay she mostly didn’t think she felt that way for him. and being the stubborn, hardheaded, crazy girl willow was, that was probably the last thing she was going to allow herself to think if at first she hadn’t thought such.
but backing up to devon again, she hated her. why? very simple. devon had challenged her and no one challenged willow once willow told them to shut up. the fact that devon had finally shut up first didn’t make any difference. devon had been the one who had dissed the french, willow’s entirety of being. jack had further pissed her off by telling her instead of that devon girl to be quiet. now that was just not right. that didn’t happen. no. not to willow. and so, willow had acquired a deep dislike for the girl.
”yeah i’m good whatever. thanks for asking.” she teased sarcastically. in her world, the common courtesy of asking someone how they were was the only answer she would take. yes, willow was rather…set upon what she believed. ”and i don’t know…tell me anything. what have you been doing? how are you? etcetera kid.” she yawned a bit, very tired still. ”nooooo? pfttt yeah right. jack, it’s pretty obvious and also pretty disgusting. i don’t know why you’d want to go for her.” she said, rolling her eyes again.
