After Lexi had made the plans with Jack for them to hang out at his house, she logged off her mac laptop, and put it safely back in its place. She was extremely happy to be hanging out with Jack, just the two of them. The thought made her smile brightly. As much as she hated to admit it, she had fallen for him. Hard. And Jack wasn't exactly the type of guy that was willing to catch her.
Walking over to her full-sized mirror in her hallway, Lexi decided that she wanted to change into something a little nicer. She pulled on a pair of her favorite DKNY skinnies, a black top, and black flats. Nothing to extravagant, but she didn't look bad in the least. She didn't want Jack to think she had gotten all dolled up for him, even if she was. She reapplied her make-up, and grabbed her acid green juicy valor hoodie, just incase she got chilly on the walk over. Jacks penthouse was a couple blocks away.
When she entered the elevator, she decided that she was going to stop at a store on the way, and get some chocolate covered strawberries for their dessert. She had no idea what Jack was planning on ordering for their dinner, but it wasn't really that important to her.
Walking out of the golden revolving door, Lexi was greeted with a cool fall evening. It was already dark, and there were a few people here and there, walking their dogs or going for a jog. She zipped up her hoodie, and looked through her black coach tote for her cell phone, finding it, she sent Jack a text, letting him know she was on her way.
After buying their dessert, Lexi walked the last two blocks to Jack's penthouse. She smiled politely at the door man, entered the lobby, and took the elevator up to his floor. The butterflies began when she was at his front door. She took a deep breath, and knocked lightly.
